Confronting Hostility, Cultivating Hope conference March 25th at TC

Dear C&T students,

This is a reminder that we will have a meeting for the Graduate Student Collaborative today, March 20th from 4-5pm, which all C&T students are welcomed to attend.

During this meeting, we will discuss details for the Graduate Student-Led Conference, taking place this Saturday, March 25th. Please take a moment to view the invitation and register for this Graduate Student-Led Conference, which will feature:

  • Theme of Confronting Hostility, Cultivating Hope in curriculum and teaching
  • Panels and conversations on diversity, inclusion, and critical consciousness in curriculum and teacher education
  • Workshops on a curricular framework for education in India and the embodied, lyrical experiences of the dissertation process
  • Keynote from Dr. Limarys Caraballo, who received her doctorate from the C&T Department and is currently Assistant Professor of English Education at Queens College CUNY and IUME Faculty Fellow
  • Lunch provided
