JOIN US: INCLUDEnyc’s Inclusion Symposium, Nov. 6

| October 26, 2017

INCLUDEnyc is excited to invite you and your families to the Pathways to an Inclusive Future symposium. This is a one-night-only event, and will be held Monday, November 6 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in Manhattan.

Come hear a panel of professionals, youth advocates, parents, and educators with different perspectives tackle the complexities of inclusion – what it is, why it is, and what it could look like in the future.

Alex Zimmerman, Staff Writer and Report for Chalkbeat, will be moderating the Education panel. Chancey Fleet, Assistive Technology Coordinator at Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library at New York Public Library, will be moderating the Access panel.  Our Keynote Speaker will be Emily Brooks, Professor of Disability Studies at CUNY School of Professional Studies.

The event starts at 6, but refreshments will be served at 5:30pm sharp. You may register here.

Hope to see you there!

Lori Podvesker, M.S. Ed., Senior Manager of Disability and Education Policy
