Part-time job available

| January 9, 2017
I am looking for an afternoon sitter to help out 3 days per week–we are flexible but we’re looking for a commitment of about 12 hours/week.  It’s basically Monday 3-6, Tuesday 1-6 and Friday 1-4.  The job would mostly entail picking up our 4 year old, Crosby, from school on the Upper East Side and taking him to after-school activities or play dates, or coming up with something fun to do on days when nothing is planned. We are hoping to find someone energetic, fun, outgoing and with some experience dealing with preschool age children. Ideally, our afternoon sitter would be up for adventure and willing to make plans with Crosby’s friends’ caretakers. On some afternoons, our sitter might also be asked to help out with Crosby’s sister Lucy, who is 2.5 years old. We have a full-time nanny who will usually be taking care of Lucy and our 2 month old baby James, so we are really looking for someone who will be primarily focused on Crosby and will enjoy teaching him new things, taking him on adventures throughout the city, and helping out with dinner and bath time at the end of the day. Weekend and evening hours as well as more regular hours during the summer would be available if there’s interest.
