Registration information for newly admitted students

| December 9, 2016
Spring registration is available for new students beginning on December 12. The registration PIN is 817953. Use the program planning sheet (ELEM-INIT_Planning_Sheet) and suggested course sheet (Spring_2017_courses_that_fulfill_program_requirements) to select courses in advance of your advising session.  You may find all of the available courses on TC’s website at http://www.tc.columbia.edu/academics/resources/courses/.
Schedule an appointment with your advisor using the Fall 2016 office hours schedule in the Featured section of the blog.  Try to make an appointment as soon as possible. Keep in mind that faculty will do their best to be available to students during these last few weeks of the semester, but it is also likely that they may need to meet with you to plan courses during orientation on January 17.
Email preservice at tc dot edu immediately to request special permission if you’re planning to take C&T 4000 or 4143 during the spring semester. These courses are required prior to student teaching.  Spaces fill up quickly, so request special permission as soon as possible.
Questions regarding your tuition deposit and/or deferral should be directed to the admissions office at tcinfo at tc dot columbia dot edu or 212-678-3710.  You can reach the financial aid office at financialaid at tc dot columbia dot edu or 212-678-3714.  For general information about registration or orientation, send your questions to preservice at tc dot edu.
