Summer B | Design for Educators
July 13th-July 27th
Register: CRN 21148Design for Educators serves as an introductory studio-based course in design. It will familiarize students with four areas of design: web-based media, user experience design, print media, and 3D media. The course will explore applications in design learning and thinking through hands-on making and will use an array of tools and software ––which can be employed by educators coming from diverse fields. As part of the assignments, students will design and build a web-based portfolio to visualize their projects, research, and teaching methods as educators. This 5-day course is designed for students and professionals from all disciplines.

Software tutorials in: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Invision
Hands-on tutorials in: prototyping, storyboarding, bookmaking
