Welcome Back! from your C&T Student Advisory Council

Dear C&T community, We hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable break, in spite of the incredibly difficult context in which we find ourselves. Our main goal this semester is to create a more welcoming space for C&T students. Please see this “council” as more of a collaborative student group, and know that collectively, we make progress toward a more open space for students only with your presence and feedback.

Upcoming Events… Teachers Gallery “Places, Philosophies, Pedagogies” Monday, February 13th, 5-7:30pm C&T Students will exhibit materials from teaching experiences in GDH 179 All of TC is welcome to join for the opening presentation, teachers’ exhibition, and refreshments/conversation Graduate Student Conference “Confronting Hostility, Cultivating Hope” Saturday, March 25th C&T students are welcome to share theoretical work, self-study, action research, literature review, or field study in paper, poster, or workshop form Sign up at http://bit.ly/2hlOtLL

Upcoming gatherings… We’ll have meetings every other Monday at 4-5 pm (place tbd). Check out a list of upcoming gatherings: Jan 30 – 3rd floor Zankel – Collective postcard writing and phone calling & prep for Teachers Gallery. Feb 13 – Come to TEACHERS GALLERY, 5-7:30 in GDH 179. Feb 27 – Art-making in response to hostilities & logistics for the Conference. March 20 – Final conference preparations.
